SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun opens first slopes on Gemsstock next weekend (19 November)
The SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun will be able to partially open the Gemsstock ski area on the weekend of 19/20 November. Guests can use the Gurschen chairlift and the corresponding slope. The Gurschen restaurant and the Gleis 0 sports shop will also be open.
The lower temperatures currently allow technical snowmaking on the Gemsstock. Together with the snow depots from last spring, the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun is therefore able to open its first facility and the corresponding piste on the Gemsstock in Andermatt with the Gurschen-Flyer. Guests will have 2.7 kilometres of pistes at their disposal. Due to the reduced offer, the prices for the day tickets will be reduced to CHF 54 (adults), CHF 38 (Half-price pass) and CHF 27 (children).
A decision will be made later on the start of continuous weekly operation on the Gemsstock from 26 November and the opening of further pistes. The start of the season in the Andermatt+Sedrun+Disentis ski area is planned for 3 December with weekend operation and from 17 December with continuous operation.
