Golf pro Lee Edwards raises money for the Fondazione Margherita Lugano

August 3, 2023

On 4 September 2023, Lee Edwards, the golf pro at the Andermatt Golf Course, will play as many holes as possible for a good cause. He thinks he can manage 60 to 72 holes. The pledges that supporters make for Edwards's golf-a-thon will benefit the Fondazione Margherita Lugano.

Lee Edwards, golf pro at the Andermatt Golf Course, has ambitious plans for September 4. He will attempt to play 72 holes to raise money for the Fondazione Margherita Lugano. Supporters can pledge the following amounts:

  • CHF 1 for each par

  • CHF 2 for each birdie

  • CHF 5 for each eagle

  • CHF 50 for each hole-in-one

Multiple pledges may also be made. The total amount of the donation will depend on how many of these scores Edwards is able to post during his golf-a-thon.

Edwards explicitly decided in favour of the MindTime project at Fondazione Margherita of Stefano Bignasca. The MindTime foundation mainly deals with minors with intellectual and psychomotoric disabilities. The MindTime Centre offers parents, therapists and teachers customised interventions, advice and training.
