CyclingCycling tours on eight alpine passes
Andermatt is situated on the high plateau of the Ursern Valley, surrounded by mountain peaks and eight Alpine passes. That makes our destination attractive for road cycling: With a racing cycle, you can climb passes and explore the valley.
Alpine passes.Cycling classics
The curve-filled pass roads and racing cycle routes make the region the ideal starting point for cycling tours – whether the ultimate challenge with three passes on one day or a classic that is also regularly on the Tour de Suisse schedule.
Eight passes.Numerous possibilities
The eight Alpine passes surrounding the Ursern Valley can all be toured with a racing cycle. The passes are not only an athletic challenge – they also cross cantonal, linguistic and cultural boundaries.
Three passes.One challenge
Furka – Nufenen – Gotthard: The three cycling passes of the Gotthard Challenge are essentially located right outside our front door. The circuit is one of the absolute classics of the Alps and is regularly on the Tour de Suisse schedule.
Conquering the challenge requires experience and stamina. If you run out of steam despite having trained hard, you can switch from the racing cycle to the PostBus at various locations.
