The wind in your hair, the sun on your face

From our company locations in Altdorf, Andermatt and Sedrun, you're never far from recreational options. In addition, all locations have a railway station, meaning they can be reached easily by train. And because we’re located in the heart of Switzerland, it’s also not far to us by car from any direction.
Altdorf
Our offices in the capital of Uri are located in the historic convent of St. Karl. There is a bus stop right outside the door. The canton's new central railway station links Altdorf with the rest of Central Switzerland and Ticino. The office is also in walking distance of the lovely Old Town with its museums and wide range of dining and drinking options. An Alpine wind, called the “Föhn”, blows through the valley where Altdorf is situated, meaning that summer temperatures are higher than average for northern Switzerland and that it regularly snows in the winter. It's just a stone’s throw to the beautiful Urnersee lake with its bathing beaches, bike routes and hiking trails. Employees of the corporate functions, like Development, Finance and HR, work at the Altdorf location.

Andermatt
Andermatt in the Urseren Valley is home to the headquarters of Andermatt Swiss Alps AG, many of our restaurants, the hotels The Chedi Andermatt and Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen, the Andermatt Swiss Alps Golf Course, the cableways of Andermatt-Sedrun Sport AG and the Swiss Snowsports School Andermatt. The climate of this high valley is also marked by the Föhn, and it’s windy most of the time. But with 1,890 hours of sun per year, Andermatt is one of the ten sunniest locations in Switzerland. The town can be very easily reached with public transportation or by car from German-speaking Switzerland, Ticino, Grison and Valais. Recreational enthusiasts will find plenty to like here. In summer, you can choose from among golfing, biking and hiking, while in winter, the region is assured of snow, meaning you can have your pick of skiing, snowboarding, freeriding, cross-country skiing and extraordinary alpine excursions. In addition, the charming mountain village has a wide range of restaurants.

Sedrun
In Sedrun, people speak Romansh, Switzerland’s fourth national language. The beautiful mountain village is located in the Surselva region, which means “above the forest” in English. Sedrun is also usually above the mountain mist as well. At our mountain restaurants and the cableways, there are jobs directly on the ski slopes. Those who like snow sports will be delighted. In summer, the region beckons with idyllically situated bathing lakes, a golf course, bike trails, rock- and mountain-climbing options, a well-developed network of hiking trails and much more.
