Andermatt offers a wealth of shops and restaurants, as well as cultural options. Along Gotthardstrasse, you’ll find a variety of boutiques, sports shops, and food and beverage stores and markets.

Shop­ping

At the supermarkets Avec (shopping concourse in the Andermatt Central railway station) and Coop (Gotthardstrasse 30), you’ll find everything for your daily necessities. The butcher shop Metzgerei Muheim at Gotthardstrasse 99 sells local meats, Alpine cheeses, and other specialities from the region. For souvenirs, visit the Customer Services shop in Piazza Gottardo, the Victorinox shop, or Alpenflair at Gotthardstrasse 89. We also recommend dropping by Galerie Art87 at Gotthardstrasse 87 and the antiques dealer La Marmotte at Gotthardstrasse 37, as well as Hüttenzauber across the street, where you’ll find home furnishings in Alpine-chic style.

There is free WiFi at the Tourist Information centre for the Andermatt holiday region, at the Sedrun-Dieni valley station, and in all Mountain Food restaurants of the SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun.
