The Chedi Andermatt was designed by the Belgian starchitect Jean-Michel Gathy, who combined wood with natural stone and integrated Asian elements, making the hotel different, special. The Chedi Andermatt has 123 elegant rooms and suites. An iPad allows you to conveniently control lighting, TV, and the gas fireplace in your room. From a culinary standpoint, the hotel offers, on the one hand, Asian and European cuisine in The Restaurant. On the other, The Japanese Restaurant, which has a Michelin star, serves sushi, sashimi, tempura, and teppanyaki, as well as a five- to ten-course kaiseki menu with sake. A particular treat for the eyes is the five-metre-high, see-through cheese humidor with Geisskäse, a goat’s milk cheese from Göscheneralp, Stanser Schafmutschli, a sheep’s milk cheese, and Baschi-Chäs from Goms. You’ll find other gastronomical highlights at The Bar and Living Room, The Lobby, and the pool bar The Pool. The Wine Library and The Cigar Library offer customised enjoyment tailored precisely to your preferences.

In the Ursern Valley, sporting activities are the order of the day. But did you leave your bike or skis at home? No problem! The sport butlers in The Living Room can provide you with rental gear, as well as insider information. Put on pre-warmed ski boots while sipping on a mug of hot chocolate.
