Summer Sportpark

Plenty of space for going full throttle

You’ll find a variety of sport offerings around Andermatt Reuss. Whether on the trampoline, at the multisport arena, on the padel court, on the climbing installation or in the bike trail park, everyone will find the perfect opportunity for letting off some steam. Right next door is a grilling area, where you can relax when you’ve finished your sporting activities.

Padel

Padel is a mixture of tennis and squash. It has the great benefit that it’s easy to play after just a little bit of practice. Padel is always played as doubles, i.e. by four people. The balls are so similar to tennis balls that it’s hard to tell the difference.

  • The padel courts are open daily druing summer months from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting (the courts are not covered).

  • Court rental: CHF 20/hour
    Racquet rental: CHF 5/player
    Ball purchase (4-pack): CHF 10

Playtomic must be used to reserve and pay for courts as well as any racquets and balls. The racquets and balls can then be picked up from the Customer Services office (Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) or the restaurant Biselli.

Bike trail park

First gain some speed on the ramp, and then over jumps and bumps before ending at the steep wall curve. The bike trail park is the perfect spot for practising before heading out into the field. Here you can acquire the skills that are needed on a flow trail in a stress-free manner. Wearing a helmet in mandatory in the bike trail park, and we recommend that riders wear protective clothing.

Beach volleyball

Serve, receive, set, attack – the classic beach volleyball rally. What began as a easygoing recreational activity on the beach is today an Olympic event. And there's also no need to be at the seaside, as can easily be seen at the field amidst the mountains in Andermatt.

If you’ve forgotten to bring your beach volleyball with you, you can borrow one from the Customer Services office at Piazza Gottardo in exchange for a deposit.

Climbing installation

Here is where young climbers can make their first attempts at the sport. The climbing installation enables them to practice their agility and technique before going out to the large rock faces. And if they lose their footing, the ground isn't far away.

Trampoline

Trampolining is much more than just bouncing around for fun. Trampoline jumping helps to practice and improve coordination and flexibility, body control and body tension. And most of all, it's lots of fun! The trampoline may be used only in socks or with bare feet – shoes are left outside the net.

Multifield arena

As a famous German football manager once said, the round thing has to go into the square thing. But in addition to football, the multifield arena is also a great place for basketball and floorball. Whether for a match after work or fun with friends and family while on holiday, the multifield arena is suitable for everyone.
